Joe is a Senior Wealth Advisor at AOG Wealth Management. He graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 53, 65, and 66 Licenses. He also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) certification, administered by Investment and Wealth Institute® and taught with the Yale School of Management.
Prior to joining AOG, Joe was a founding member that helped build a successful custody and brokerage platform with Ceros Financial Services (previously known as Rydex Financial Services). Ceros grew to be a $5 billion-dollar platform that catered to the fee-only and hybrid registered investment advisor community. He most recently spent a number of years with Charles Schwab in Tysons Corner helping individuals, companies and endowments with their financial planning and investment management needs. Prior to that, he launched a model ETF platform for AdvisorShares and their suite of actively managed ETFs. He also worked with a quantitative tactical asset management firm, CMG Capital Management Group, to distribute their mutual funds and separately managed accounts. Joe started his career as a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors in Tysons Corner.
Joe lives in Great Falls, Virginia with his wife Jenifer, mother Elizabeth, children Lillian & Declan, and dachshunds Allie & Cassie. He is a member at the McLean Bible Church, and volunteers as a lead counselor in the financial counseling/benevolence ministry. He also serves as the co-chair of the Leadership committee with the Second Decade Society board at the Johns Hopkins University.
